Metallographic Programmable Automatic Mounting Press

ECOPRESS 102 is high capacity, state of the art automatic mounting press having advanced software with programmable coloured HMI touch screen controls. Robust bayonet closure allows for quick and safe operation.

ECOPRESS 102 have pre-programmed moulding sequences built-in (factory set) from which you can choose according to your own applications. You only need to place the sample in the mould, select the program number for your specific application and depress the “Start” button. That’s it!

A robust bayonet closure mechanism ensures quick and safe operation.
Various mold assemblies are available, ranging from 25 mm to 50 mm in diameter.
Two mounts can be produced simultaneously using an intermediate ram.
Factory-set pre-programmed molding sequences allow you to choose the program that best fits your specific applications.

FAST, SIMPLE AND RELIABLE OPERATION!

ECOPRESS 102 has a reliable electrohydraulic operation which does not require air. The sample is ejected fast and very smoothly. It has automatic heating and cooling cycle. You only need to put sample, put mounting powder and press start. That’s all!

DOUBLE CLICK SYSTEM

Bayonet closure has self alignment feature with double click system. Upper ram is perfectly aligned with the same axis of mould cylinder. This provides easy to close of bayonet closure.

POWERFUL AND RELIABLE HEATING SYSTEM

ECOPRESS 102 is equipped with 5 pieces of seperate heating resistance total 1650 W heating power. This provides efficient heating, long service life and easy serviceability. Very low possibility but one of the heating resistance is broken, the remaining 4 resistances can continue to operation. If necessary, the replacing of resistances are very easy and cost effective.

ADVANCED MOUNTING FEATURES WITH TOUCH SCREEN

A large colored 7″ HMI touch screen is used for operating machine. It has advanced software with very easy use. All mounting parameters like pressure, temperature, etc… and can be set and stored in memory under a specific program number. It has advanced mounting features such as three different cooling modes, programmable pre-heating and programmable pre-loading features.

DOUBLE THE CAPACITY WITH INTERMEDIATE RAMS

The mounting capacity can be doubled by using an intermediate ram. Two specimens can be mounted at the same time by using intermediate rams. Optional chamfered rams provide a beveled face around the edge of the mounted specimen and eliminate sharp edges. If you require different mould diameters, mould assemblies can be changed easily without replacing heating & cooling unit.

IMPROVED OPERATOR SAFETY

All occupational safety risks have been eliminated. Emergency stop button allows maximum operator safety. Heat insulated bayonet closure prevents injuries caused by the heat. There is no gap between bottom ram and mould to prevent possible finger injuries.
