ACCURA 102 is an advanced high-end grinding and polishing system, which has robust construction on dual columns for applications requiring extremely flat specimen surfaces.

PRECISE, ROBUST AND RELIABLE
ACCURA 102 has robust construction on dual columns with extremely precise tolerance for applications requiring extremely flat specimen surfaces. Dual columns prevent bending and oscillation during operation. Long life mechanical and electrical components allows continuous operation and serve you for years.
MOTORIZED SAMPLE HOLDER POSITIONING
Motorized positioning of the Head in vertical (Z) and horizontal (X) axes with coordinate memory function. Unique X-axis scanning feature allows using all surface of grinding/polishing disc.
VERY POWERFUL BASE MOTOR
High torque 1.1 kW motor overcomes even the largest specimens. Disc speed is adjustable between 50 and 750 RPM with smooth speed variation. Preparation of very sensitive materials at low speed and fast preparation with high material removal at higher speeds. Planar grinding ability at high speeds. Soft start and stop feature for superior specimen surfaces.
PRECISE FORCE LOADING
Both single and central force are continuously controlled by a precise electronic pressure control unit. Thus, force is always kept constant. Possibility to start with a force as low as 3N in individual force application for very sensitive specimens to prevent damage during grinding and polishing. New specimen holder mounting mechanism with improved rigidity, which allows better flatness and surface quality.
QUICK SAMPLE HOLDER REPLACEMENT MECHANISM
Both individual and central sample holders can be inserted and removed within seconds thanks to quick replacement mechanism. This allows you to clean sample holder between each steps to eliminate impurities.
HALF ROUND ROTATION FEATURE
By holding the head button on the software, the specimen holder will rotate for easy insertion and removal of the specimens.
7" HMI TOUCH SCREEN CONTROLS
7” coloured HMI touch screen and user-friendly software allows easy view and control of all steps. All preparation parameters can be stored in memory under a specific program number and name. These parameters are entered and stored in memory and displayed on the LCD screen as preset values. All the operator needs to do is to select the mode of operation (individual or central pressure), call up a specific program and press the “Start” key.
SOFT START AND STOP FEATURE
The “soft start and stop” feature automatically starts the sequence with a low initial force which is then increased to the preset. Towards the end of the cycle, the force is automatically reduced to 75 % of the setting to prevent scratching.
AUTOMATIC DISC CLEANING AND DRYING FEATURE
Function can be activated with a single button to obtain perfectly cleaned and dried disc surfaces in seconds. The bowl cleaning nozzles remove dirts during grinding/polishing operation.
MATERIAL REMOVAL MEASUREMENT
Optional encoder allows you to measure the amount of material removed from the surface. The desired grinding depth can be set to grind different type of samples and also for applications that need special accuracy.
BARCODE SCANNER
Optional Barcode Scanner allows easy and quickly loading of correct parameters for different samples. This will eliminate the risk of loading wrong programs due to operator error and increases efficiency. You can simply develop a barcode system for your each specimen on your laboratory to enable fast data entry with less errors.
DOSING MODULE
The dosing module are optionally available with four or six bottles. Both diamond suspensions/lubricants and aluminum oxide suspensions can be fed. Pre-dosing function lubricates the polishing cloth before each operation to increase the life of polishing cloth and obtain perfectly polished specimen surfaces. Automatic Liquid Level Calculation of suspensions and lubricants also available and can be monitored through the LCD screen of the ACCURA 102.
