COLD MOUNTING
Cold mounting is a method used in metallographic sample preparation, ideal for mounting heat-sensitive samples. In this method, the sample is placed into a mounting resin at room temperature or low temperatures. Unlike hot mounting, heat and pressure are not applied in this process.
