FORCIPOL-TS

FORCIPOL-TS can accommodate 300 mm diameter wheels with variable speed between 50-600 RPM. The modern electronics provide a smooth speed variation with soft start and soft stop. The working wheel is powered by a high torque 1.0 HP electric motor with both clockwise and counterclockwise wheel rotation possibility.

Petrographic Grinding and Polishing Machine

FORCIPOL-TS, when coupled with FORCIMAT-TS, becomes an automatic thin section preparation system. FORCIPOL-TS is a versatile & durable & reliable grinding/polishing machine.

FORCIMAT-TS is a low speed automatic head and it mounted on a rigid hardened post which is fixed to the base of the FORCIPOL-TS grinder/polisher.

FORCIMAT-TS is driven by a 100 Watt DC motor and adjustable from 25 to 50 RPM speed which provides high torque for big specimens and allows long operation time. Speed of head is specially adjusted for thin section and petrographic sample preparation.

Quick replacement mechanism for individual force specimen holders

SPECIALLY DESIGNED THIN SECTIONS HOLDERS

Specially designed thin sections holders which called LAP-TS and POL-TS are used for lapping and polishing of thin sections. LAP-TS has special Boron Carbide stops which function is to precisely determine final thickness of specimen on the glass slide. The final thickness of specimens becomes between 25 and 35 μm. POL-TS is used for polishing process to provides smooth surface for microscopic examination.

Two different Peristaltic Fluid Dispensers are available for automatic heads:

FORCIPOL TS can accommodate Ø300 mm working wheels. It is very easy to work different diameter of discs on the same equipment.

MODULAR CONFIGURATION

Possible to make manual, semi-automatic or programmable automatic configuration. If necessary, the configuration of FORCIPOL TS can be changed and upgraded easily in the future.

FORCIPOL TS is equipped with a high torque 0.75 kW motor, which overcomes even the largest specimens. It has adjustable wheel speed from 50 RPM to 600 RPM with soft start/stop function for superior specimen surfaces.

HEAVY ROBUST CONSTRUCTION TO ELIMINATE VIBRATIONS

FORCIPOL TS has heavy and strong cast aluminum base to eliminate vibration. The ball bearings for working wheel can withstand very high pressures and heavy loads to prepare large specimens. It has very long life and reliable mechanical and electronic construction to serve you for years.

AUTOMATIC DISC CLEANING AND DRYING FEATURE

Function can be activated with a single button to obtain perfectly cleaned and dried disc surfaces in seconds. The bowl cleaning nozzles remove dirts during grinding/polishing operation.

SMART WATER SAVING FEATURE

If cooling water left opened by operator due to any reason, the Smart Water Saving feature is activated automatically and closes the water. This allows tons of water saving over the years.
