MICRACUT 202 precision cutters are capable of cutting most materials such as, brittle or ductile metals, hard or soft metals, composites, ceramics, rocks, biomaterials, laminates, etc. They are designed for cutting all types of materials with minimal structural deformation. The structural integrity of the sample is maintained through MICRACUT 202’s design and operation. Additionally, low kerf-loss and sample holding versatility makes the MICRACUT 202 an essential part of the modern day laboratory.

VERY POWERFUL AND PRECISE MOTOR
- Equipped with 1.1 kW precise and powerful cutting motor. It allows to cut both hard and sensitive specimens.

EXTREMELY PRECISE CUTTING
MICRACUT 202 It is built on precisely manufactured heavy-duty aluminum frame providing stable and vibration resistant base for precision cutting operation. It is designed for cutting all types of materials with minimal structural deformation. The cut surface is ready for microscopic examination with minimal polishing. It has very precise table movement in X and Y axis. The feed speed can be adjusted between 5 µm/s to 5000 µm/s.
POWERFUL AND PRECISE CUTTING MOTOR
Equipped with 1.1 kW precise and powerful cutting motor. It allows to cut both hard and sensitive specimens. Ability to set cut-off wheel speed from 300 RPM to 4000 RPM, which allows to cut wide range of materials without changing the wheel.
INTEGRATED RECIRCULATION COOLING UNIT
A 9 liters capacity coolant tank is located inside the machine including pump system. No external recirculation system is required. It does not take up extra space in your laboratory.
EASY OPERATION WITH TOUCH SCREEN AND JOYSTICK
A large colored 7″ HMI touch screen is used for operating machine. It has advanced software with very easy use. All cutting parameters [Wheel Speed, Feedrate, Travel, Cutting Modes, Starting Position, etc…] can be set and stored in memory under a specific program number. Wheel and table can be positioned easily via joystick in X-Y-Z axes. Movement speed can be adjusted can be adjusted very precisely using joystick. Starting position can be set easily via button on the joystick.
INSTAFEED CUTTING (AUTO FEEDRATE)
Feedrate is the most important factor when cutting specimen. High feedrate values may cause sample burning, excessive wheel wear, motor overload and even cut-off wheel breakage. Low feedrate values increase cutting time. With Auto Feedrate Cutting(Instafeed Cutting) method, feedrate is adjusted automatically to an optimum level according to motor load continuously. Thus cutting is completed in shortest possible time without burning specimen.
RAPID PULSE CUTTING
Used for cutting very hard and heat sensitive specimens. Table continuously goes forward and backward very quickly in a short period until the end of cutting process. It reduces contact time and allows coolant circulation between cutting wheel and sample during whole cutting process. This allows very low heat generation and also reduces cutting time.
LASER ALIGNMENT UNIT
Laser alignment unit is optionally available for precise positioning of the sample for the exact cutting line. The laser alignment unit visualizes the sample exactly on the line where the cut off wheel will enter. Thickness of laser line can be adjusted according to cut-off wheel thickness.
BLADE DRESSING UNIT
Optional blade dressing unit ensures an easy and fast dressing of diamond and CBN cutting wheels even during cutting operation.
ROTATION STAND
Optional rotation stand increases the cutting capacity and reduces the contact area. Ensures fast cutting of extremely hard materials. Reduces the cutting time especially for pipes, tubes or round specimens.
