SERVOCUT 302 is an advanced universal metallographic cutting machine used to cut a very wide range of materials. Control of X/Y/Z Axis can also be performed with the ergonomic proportional Joystick that offers smooth and precise positioning.

SERVOCUT 302 has a robust and reliable design with low noise and emission levels. The modern and sturdy design with powerful 4 kW cutting motor ensures fast and efficient cutting through the hardest and complex materials with precise motor-driven axis controls. SERVOCUT 302 automatic models have advanced techniques and software with programmable HMI touchscreen controls increasing the productivity, sample consistency and minimize operator intervention.

SMALL FOOTPRINT, LARGE CUTTING CAPACITY!
Small enough for laboratory, large enough to clamp and cut big samples. It can be used both as bench-top and with floor cabinet. Most of the big samples can be positioned on the table. Ability to work with up to Ø300 mm cut-off wheels. Large cutting capacity up to Ø110 mm for cylindirical specimens.
POWERFUL CUTTING MOTOR!
Powerful 4 kW cutting motor and advanced cutting methods can overcome the hardest and largest samples. Cut-off wheel speed can be adjusted from 600 to 4000 RPM to make possible to cut every kind of materials. Laser alignment unit is optionally available for precise positioning of the sample for the exact cutting line.
EFFICIENT SAMPLE COOLING AND FILTRATION
Two cooling nozzles are positioned both right and left sides of cut-off wheel. Position of nozzles can easily be adjusted according to sample. Powerful pumps provides very high flowrate of cooling liquid. Thus, no burns occur on the specimen surface. Recirculating coolant tank has 80 lt capacity and it can be placed inside the cabinet of SERVOCUT 302. Optional level sensor always monitors the fluild level and inform operator when fluid level is low.
INSTAFEED CUTTING (AUTO FEEDRATE)
Feedrate is the most important factor when cutting specimen. High feedrate values may cause sample burning, excessive wheel wear, motor overload and even cut-off wheel breakage. Low feedrate values increase cutting time. With Auto Feedrate Cutting(Instafeed Cutting) method, feedrate is adjusted automatically to an optimum level according to motor load continuously. Thus cutting is completed in shortest possible time without burning specimen.
JOYSTICK CUTTING
Possibility to make manual cutting via joystick. It is very useful when you need to cut a sample quickly without programming. The feed speed can be adjusted easily by tilting joystick. Both Z-axis and Y-axis can be controlled. Maximum feed speed can be limited from the touch panel.
ADVANCED CUTTING METHODS
SERVOCUT 302 has many advanced cutting methods to overcome all difficulties of large, hard and complex shaped specimens. Optional Diagonal, Step, Segment and Combined Cutting methods make SERVOCUT 302 perfect choice for a broad range of heavy-duty and high capacity cutting applications. Rapid Pulse Cutting feature reduces contact time and ensures maximum cooling of specimen. Table Oscillation Cutting feature minimizes the contact area to reduce the risk of specimen damage.
RAPID PULSE CUTTING
Used for cutting very hard and heat sensitive specimens. Table or wheel continuously goes forward and backward very quickly in a short period until the end of cutting process. It reduces contact time and allows coolant circulation between cutting wheel and sample during whole cutting process. This allows very low heat generation and also reduces cutting time.
TABLE OSCILLATING CUTTING
Table continuously moves forward and backward very quickly in a short period while cut-off wheel moves down for cutting specimen. So, contact area between cut-off wheel and sample reduces up to %50 resulting less load on motor and low heat generation on sample. Used for cutting very hard, large and heat sensitive specimens.
COMBINED CUTTING
Ideal for cutting larger specimens that cannot be cut in one cycle. Y and Z axis are combined for additional cutting capacity. First the cutting is performed with Z-axis chop cutting, subsequently the specimen is cut with Y-axis Table-feed.
EASY OPERATION WITH TOUCH SCREEN AND JOYSTICK
A large colored 7″ HMI touch screen is used for operating machine. It has advanced software with very easy use. All cutting parameters [Wheel Speed, Feedrate, Travel, Cutting Modes, Starting Position, etc…] can be set and stored in memory under a specific program number. Wheel and table can be positioned easily via joystick in X-Y-Z axes.
MAGNETIC COLLECTOR ROD SET
A magnetic collector rod set is optionally available for recirculation cooling tank. It can be connected on top of the lid of the cooling tank. It collects all magnetic particles inside the cooling liquid. To pick and dispose magnetic particles on the rod, just pull magnetic part of the rod. All magnetic particles will fall.
FUMEFILTER, FUME AND MIST REMOVING UNIT
An advanced fume and mist removing unit is optionally available for SERVOCUT 302. It collects, filters and condenses the fume and vapor from the cutting chamber which generated during cutting operation. It does not allow intense smoke generation inside the cutting chamber and mist formation on glasses.
